Rolando O. Santos, PhD
Assistant Professor
Department of Biological Sciences
Institute of Environment
Florida International University

His research focuses on applying an integrative approach between landscape, movement, and trophic ecology to design studies to increase our knowledge of how fish and invertebrate populations and communities respond to disturbances and habitat changes.

Dr. Santos’ visit is being hosted by the SNR Fisheries and Aquatic Conservation Ecology group (Lisa Izzo, Gus Engman, and Alejandro Molina), and they will organize his schedule for that day. If you are interested in meeting with Dr. Santos, please check out his schedule via this Google link and sign up for a time slot. There is a room in ANR reserved throughout the day for meetings, but other meeting locations could be doable depending on timing and the groups interested.
