People can now donate to the Professor David Buckley Forestry Scholarship Endowment. Buckley passed away in June.

The dendrology professor taught hundreds of students and mentored many graduate students. He also served as the faculty advisor for the UT Forestry Club-Student Chapter of the Society of American Foresters for more than 20 years.

Buckley joined the School of Natural Resources, formerly the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries, in 1998.
