More than 270 people dined on wild game Saturday night.
The UT student Chapter of the Wildlife and Fisheries Society hosted its annual Wild Game Dinner in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Building on March 28.
People enjoyed a range of venison dishes, including sliders, fajitas, and chili. They also got to try out alligator gumbo, duck dirty rice, goose summer sausage, and even iguana!
People also participated in a silent auction and drawing.
The Wild Game Dinner is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the society. It funds the student organization’s trips to conferences and conventions throughout the academic year.
