Group tours UT Tree Improvement seed orchards for third time in 18 years

The Elk Valley Forestry Association toured the Jack Daniel Distillery Seed Orchards on Thursday, November 9. It marks the group’s third tour of the seed orchards after visiting them in November 2005 and April 2015.

UT Tree Improvement Program Director and School of Natural Resources Professor Scott Schlarbaum lead the tour of about 30 people. The tour allowed the Association’s members to see the accomplishments of the seed orchards since the program partnered with the Distillery 25 years ago.
