Forest Restoration professor Jennifer Franklin and nine students from the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) UT Chapter attended the SER North American Conference from Oct. 28-Nov. 1 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The group included forestry students Treyton Davis, Owen Seigler, and Nicholas Valdez.
The conference featured workshops, sessions, and speakers. Attendees learned about the restoration initiatives happening across North America. The UT group also shared some of the work being done in Tennessee.
