SNR students awarded at Tennessee Chapter of The Wildlife Society conference

Undergraduate and graduate students received awards at the Tennessee Chapter of The Wildlife Society Annual Meeting March 5-7 in Pigeon Forge.

Graduate student Casey Swafford won Best Student Presentation. Undergraduate students in the Wildlife and Fisheries Society also received awards. Cheyenne Underwood won Best Student Poster, Mary Jo Thomas received the Undergraduate Student Scholarship, and Mollie Bright received the Student Networking Award.

Undergraduate students Grace Maddox, Emily French, Blake Eberhart, Kaylie Campbell, Morgan King, Kaylei Malone, and Rainy Campbell and graduate students Thomas Rovery, Jake Bones, Spencer Marshall, Christian Smith, Maya Lapp, and Jacob Wyrick also attended.

SNR faculty and Wildlife and Fisheries Society advisors Lindsey Phillips and Emma Willcox joined students. Other faculty members at the meeting included David Buehler, Craig Harper, Matt Gray, and Lisa Muller.
