Members of the UT Chapter of Society of American Foresters or Forestry Club won second place in the Kentucky-Tennessee Society of American Foresters quiz bowl during its winter meeting in Knoxville.

Sean O’Tool, Finley Oldham, Josie Calhoon, Caitlin Embry, Kayla Stuart and Mel Mount made up the team. David Buckley, Forestry Club advisor and SNR professor, also attended the event.

Josie Calhoon also received a memorial scholarship, and Stephen Peairs, SNR assistant professor, presented during the winter meeting.
