
Undergraduate and graduate students joined alumni at the annual Tennessee Bat Working Group meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Ijams Nature Center.
Graduate students Ash Cable and Ashley Epstein jointly won the award for best student presentation at the meeting. Undergraduate Zoe Marczak also gave her first poster presentation on research she conducted over the summer.


Cable was also elected chair of the working group. Wildlife Science Professor Emma Willcox was elected as a board member.
The Tennessee Bat Working Group aims to study and exchange information to help coordinate the conservation of bat species in the state.
